You will notice that earphone my platforms are cable bound. However, as my platform is modular, you can easily go wireless e.g. with a third party bluetooth receivers on the cable (like this) or behind the ear (like this). Many BT receivers have proven excellent performance and many more will come to the market.

I have no plans to develop a "true wireless" earphones which require extensive expertise, money and time, with the result, in my opinion being a tradeoff between a wireless system and performance.
